Conferences
Each year BC TEAL strives to offer a variety of PD events for professionals working in the English teaching profession. These events include our large Annual BC TEAL Conference in late Spring, our Vancouver Island Regional Conference in early Spring, and our Interior Regional Conference in the fall. We also occasionally offer smaller one day PD Sessions in the Lower Mainland. All information about upcoming BC TEAL professional development opportunities will be posted here. 2013 Annual Conference
Thank you to all the conference participants for attending the BC TEAL Annual Conference at Douglas College. We welcomed over 400 EAL professionals at this year’s event, and were very pleased to offer an array of workshops and invited speakers as in years past. We also introduced some new elements to the conference experience, such as having a searchable online schedule, reducing workshops to 45 minutes, and including reflection time in the schedule.
