TEAL Mary Ashworth Scholarship

Purpose: The TEAL Mary Ashworth Scholarship supports travel to a TESL Canada Conference or a TESOL Convention, for a B.C. graduate student in ESL.

Fatimah Mahmood

The recipients are expected to submit a written report to the TEAL Charitable Foundation Board and the B.C. TEAL Newsletter Editor for inclusion in the TEAL News, and to deliver a presentation at one of the B.C. TEAL Conferences within the following year.

The TEAL Mary Ashworth Scholarship was established in 1988 to honour Mary Ashworth on the occasion of her retirement, for her outstanding contributions to B.C. TEAL and the ESL profession and awarded for the first time in 1989.

The recipient of the TEAL Mary Ashworth Scholarship must be a current member of B.C. TEAL.

Please submit 2 copies (1 original and 1 photocopy) of all documentation.

October 15th of each year.
