2015 Program Book

The countdown to the conference is on! In less than one week we’ll be together at UBC to “Reflect, Reconnect and Renew!”

In anticipation, we wanted to offer you some “insider tips” in preparation.

Transit, parking and getting yourself to UBC on time! Please plan LOTS of time to get from the bus loop or your parking location to the ELI on Friday morning. UBC is a huge campus which is changing all the time it seems, with new buildings, construction, and new pedestrian pathways. Sessions will start promptly at 9 am. Give yourself time to check in, pick up your registration package along with everyone else, and check out the publisher displays.

Coffee! Although refreshments will be served at 10:45, we know some of you can’t wait that long for your morning cup of java! We’d like to suggest hitting Mercante Pizzaria – next door to the ELI, the Loop Cafe in the CIRS building or Starbucks in the bookstore on your way in before registration.

Pre-plan your day! Included below is a link to the program book as a PDF. It’s for your digital use only as you’ll get a paper copy in your registration package, (no need to print it out). You can use it to organize your day in advance and shortlist your must-see sessions. Don’t forget to check the boards and room signs for any changes, as sometimes last minute swaps or cancellations are necessary.

On-line registration closes on Tuesday, but on-site registration will be available Friday and Saturday. Tell your friends!

Happy reading and see you soon!

Tami and Fiona
