EAL Teacher Personal Wellness Workshop

It is well known that teaching is one of the most challenging professions of all time and teachers often suffer from stress and burn out due to a lack of self care. If you need some new and innovative tips to help you maintain a healthy and balanced approach to your career and personal life then this is the workshop for you!

2610 Victoria Drive (1 block East of Broadway and Commercial Skytrain Station). Vancity Conference Room on the  2nd Floor.
Cost:   $10 for members / $20 for non-members
Limit: 40 participants.

Dr. Karen Ragoonaden

Dr. Karen Ragoonaden is a faculty member at UBC’s Okanagan campus where she is involved in the conceptualization and delivery of smartEducation (Stress Management and Resiliency Techniques).

Daniela Cohen

Daniela Cohen is passionate about facilitating transformative practices that empower people to forge meaningful connections within themselves and with others, and therefore contribute to the creation of a peaceful global community. Daniela has extensive experience facilitating refugee and immigrant integration, as well teaching ESL and Yoga to diverse populations, in Canada and South Africa.

Jodi Gilmore

Jodi Gilmore is a Registered Holistic Nutritionist, Reference and Regulate© therapist, NeurOptimal© neurofeedback trainer and parent who has been supporting children and families with autism, ADHD, anxiety, learning, behavioural and other neurodevelopmental challenges since 1992.
