Shawna Williams

Shawna Williams’s EAL career has spanned two decades. She first honed her skills in South Korea and Japan, and for the past 15 years, has worked in various contexts in Vancouver as an EAL instructor, administrator, and teacher educator.

Currently, she is a program coordinator with the LEAP Program at Langara College. She first joined the BC TEAL board in 2008 as the editor of TEAL News. She has also served as 2nd Vice-President (co-chair of the 2011 and 2012 annual conferences), President from 2012 to 2016, and Past-President from 2017-2018. She received the BC TEAL Lifetime Contributor Award in 2017.
