Research Request: Relationship between Second Language Research and Pedagogical Practice

Attention In-service teachers, Teacher trainers and  Student teachers. Please consider participating in the following research study.

About the study: Eva Kartchava, Associate Professor of Applied Linguistics and Discourse Studies from Carleton University’s School of Linguistics and Language Studies in Ottawa, Canada, is conducting a research study, the primary goal of which is to examine the relationship between second language research and pedagogical practice.

Your participation in the project will include:

  • Taking an online survey that will take about 30 minutes to complete
  • Participating in a (10-15 minute) follow-up interview (if consented to at the end of the survey

This ethics protocol for this project was reviewed by the Carleton University Research Ethics Board, which provided clearance to carry out the research.
