Climb for the Cause

Take part in the 8th Annual Climb for the Cause – Grouse Grind on Sunday, June 9th at 10 am. All the funds raised go directly to awards for refugees who wish to study at a post-secondary institution in British Columbia. Your support and participation can make a real difference in the life of a refugee.

Friends, family and colleagues can support a specific climber by making a donation below. Suggested pledges for climbers: adult climbers – $200 and student climbers – $50. Cheques need to be made out to the “TCF Refugee Award” and mailed to the BC TEAL office. Please provide instructions if you wish to direct the donation to a specific climber. Income tax receipts are issued for all donations of $25 or more.

The 2019 Climb for the Cause – Grouse Grind on June 9th at 10 am

Each climber will be given a T-shirt and water at the start of the event.

What:
The 2019 Climb for the Cause – Grouse Grind.

When:
10:00 AM, Sunday, June 9, 2019. Rain or Shine.

Where:
Meet at the entrance of the Grouse Grind at the base of Grouse Mountain.

Clothing:
Layers of clothing, socks and a good pair of running shoes or hiking boots. No umbrellas or open shoes or sandals!

Cost:
$15 to take the Grouse Mountain Gondola down from the top of Grouse Mountain.
